Indonesia's Food Prices on Saturday (April 12th): What's the Price of Red Chili Peppers?

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (12/4/2025) at 13:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 22 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, premium rice, curly red chilies, large red chilies, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp65 (0.16%) to Rp41,774 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp969 (1.84%) to Rp51,657 per kg.
