Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra: Bird''s Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Falls

The prices of several food items in West Sumatra today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (September 11, 2025) at 12:11 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged cooking oil, pure beef, chicken eggs, broiler meat, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, SPHP rice, red onion, bulk cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Tuna fish prices surged the highest by Rp942 (2.25%) to Rp42,720 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the deepest by Rp8,667 (14.05%) to Rp53,000 per kg.
