South Sumatra Food Prices Saturday (6/9), How Much is Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (6/9/2025) at 13.24 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include premium rice, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken meat, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, shallots, garlic bulbs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili recorded the highest increase of Rp469 (1.05%) to Rp45,045 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili experienced the deepest decrease of Rp1,185 (2.93%) to Rp39,222 per kg.
