Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Saturday, December 23, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, red chilies, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp3,020 (4.97%) to Rp63,780 per kg. Chicken prices saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp650 (1.97%) to Rp32,340 per kg.
