Food Prices in East Java Today, What is the Price of Buffalo Meat?

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (29/10/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are milkfish, dried soybean seeds (imported), fresh buffalo meat (local), mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, SPHP rice, medium rice, corn at farmer level, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) saw the highest jump of Rp120,000 (inf%) to Rp120,000 per kg. Meanwhile, corn prices at the farmer level experienced the sharpest drop of Rp154 (2.47%) to Rp6,076 per kg.
