Cooking Oil Prices in Aceh are the Highest Nationally (Friday, January 21, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of cooking oil (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 21,310 per kg, data as of Friday, January 21, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 21,200 per kg.

The daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Aceh was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 26,950 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of cooking oil in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 26,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Papua, cooking oil was sold at Rp 24,200 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of cooking oil in Gorontalo was Rp 23,350 per kg, Central Sulawesi Rp 23,050 per kg, and Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 21,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with cooking oil sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest cooking oil selling prices are North Kalimantan, Bali, and North Maluku.
