Latest Food Prices in Banten: Chili and Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (29/10/2024) at 11:16 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, garlic bulbs, iodized fine salt, premium rice, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up Rp1,130 (14.36%) to Rp9,000 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was seen in skipjack tuna, down Rp3,830 (11.61%) to Rp29,150 per kg.
