Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Salt Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (6/4/2025) at 11.02 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 18 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, table salt, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as frozen buffalo meat (import), curly red chilies, fresh buffalo meat (local), shallots, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most by Rp895 (2.14%) to Rp42,779 per kg. The price of large red chilies decreased the most by Rp1,804 (3.11%) to Rp56,150 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 25 food commodities in Indonesia according to Bapanas on April 6, 2025, at 11.02 WIB.
