Today's Food Prices (22/4) in Bali: Prices of Red Chili, Garlic and Soybean Rise

Today, the prices of several food commodities in Bali were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) at 18.15 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are large red chili, imported soybean, curly red chili, premium rice, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as red bird's eye chili and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chili jumped the highest by Rp2,099 (5.62%) to Rp39,420 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp1,901 (3.33%) to Rp55,148 per kg.

3. Curly Red Chili: Rp40,370 per kg (up 5.14%)
4. Large Red Chili: Rp39,420 per kg (up 5.62%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,000 per kg (unchanged)
6. Shallots: Rp33,074 per kg (down 1.98%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp31,630 per kg (up 1.23%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,404 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,886 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,635 per liter (unchanged)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (unchanged)
