Today's Food Prices in Indonesia, February 03: Egg, Onion, and Soybean Prices Decline

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (3/2/2026) at 14:21 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were hindquarter beef, curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, Minyakita cooking oil, red onion, imported soybeans, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest increase of Rp800 (1.9%) to Rp43,000 per kg. Meanwhile, imported soybean prices dropped the most by Rp100 (0.68%) to Rp14,700 per kg.

Below is the complete list of 16 food commodity prices in Indonesia according to SP2KP Kemendag on February 3, 2026, at 14:21 WIB.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp60,800 per kg (up 1.84%)
3. Large Red Chili: Rp43,000 per kg (up 1.9%)
4. Red Onion: Rp42,800 per kg (down 0.47%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,500 per kg (unchanged)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp39,400 per kg (down 0.51%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp39,000 per kg (up 0.78%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp32,700 per kg (down 0.3%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,300 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,400 per kg (unchanged)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (unchanged)
