Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Up, Oil Down (Saturday, January 20, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (20/1/2024) at 09.30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, milkfish, granulated sugar, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp760 (1.83%) to Rp42,320 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp130 (0.95%) to Rp13,620 per liter.
