Aceh Food Prices on Saturday (Oct 25): Cayenne Pepper Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (Oct 25, 2025) at 3:04 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 7 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were pure beef, dried soybean seeds (imported), mackerel, fresh buffalo meat (local), and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, milkfish, curly red chili, shallots, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna saw the highest increase of Rp775 (2.24%) to Rp35,300 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili fell the sharpest by Rp1,031 (1.29%) to Rp78,939 per kg.
