Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Prices of Oil, Onions, and Salt Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (7/9/2024) at 09.58 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, shallots, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level surged the highest, by Rp700 (8.43%) to Rp9,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp6,490 (20.15%) to Rp25,720 per kg.
