D.I. Yogyakarta Food Prices Today: Salt Price Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food items in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (October 8, 2025) at 02:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities saw price increases and 12 saw decreases.

Commodities with increased prices include bulk wheat flour, consumption salt, broiler chicken eggs, shallots, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, red cayenne pepper, milkfish, dry soybean seeds (imported), and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour saw the highest increase of Rp348 (3.95%) to Rp9,158 per kg. Large red chili experienced the deepest drop of Rp2,143 (4.23%) to Rp48,571 per kg.
