Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Onions Down (Thursday, April 11, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (11/4/2024) at 10:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), curly red chili, garlic bulb, premium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp8,220 (55.62%) to Rp23,000 per kg. Red onion prices saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp7,210 (21.08%) to Rp27,000 per kg.

2. Curly Red Chili: Rp45,000 per kg (down 2.15%)
3. Red Chili Peppers: Rp45,000 per kg (up 24.04%)
4. Mackerel: Rp39,000 per kg (up 10.14%)
5. Skipjack Tuna: Rp39,000 per kg (up 8.36%)
6. Milkfish: Rp38,000 per kg (up 2.73%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp36,000 per kg (down 5.14%)
8. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,000 per kg (down 3.16%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 5.66%)
