Today's Food Prices in Banten: Egg, Rice, and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (6/9/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, medium rice, garlic bulbs, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp390 (5.15%) to Rp7,960 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the largest decrease of Rp4,710 (14.01%) to Rp28,900 per kg.
