Bali's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Monday, January 29, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (29/1/2024) at 14:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, milkfish, Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, and livestock-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,420 (10.48%) to Rp25,520 per kg. The price of shallots saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,230 (7.06%) to Rp29,350 per kg.
