Daily Red Onion Prices at Traditional Markets, November 2023-2024

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in South Kalimantan province is recorded at Rp27,350. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp27,250.

Meanwhile, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in the last three months in South Kalimantan has decreased by 53.72%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in South Kalimantan province was traded at Rp59,100.

The record high for the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2022 with an increase of 39.69%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2022 with a decrease of -18.39%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Kalimantan recorded seven commodities decreasing and four others increasing. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Medium-Sized Shallots, Medium-Sized Garlic, Red Chili, Fresh Layer Eggs, Shallots, Garlic, and Chicken Eggs.
