Bali's Daily Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (12/6/2024) at 10:01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), medium rice, shallots, pure beef, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,230 (9.98%) to Rp35,590 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the sharpest price decrease, dropping Rp280 (2.32%) to Rp11,770 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulb: Rp37,080 per kg (up 0.95%)
7. Shallots: Rp35,590 per kg (up 9.98%)
8. Red Chili Peppers: Rp33,530 per kg (down 0.68%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,370 per kg (down 0.91%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp26,390 per kg (up 0.42%)
