Food Prices Today, December 04, in Indonesia: Chili Padi Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food ingredients in Indonesia today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (4/12/2025) at 14:21 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are red chili padi and shallots.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

The price of red chili padi rose the highest by Rp1,800 (2.82%) to Rp65,600 per kg. The price of curly red chili fell the sharpest by Rp400 (0.69%) to Rp57,200 per kg.
