Indonesia's Food Prices Wednesday (26/3): Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (26/3/2025) at 11:21 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are Minyakita, red chili peppers (rawit), large red chilies, curly red chilies, and fresh buffalo meat (local).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, chicken eggs, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp937 (1.74%), reaching Rp54,713 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp110 (1.76%), reaching Rp6,126 per kg.
