Food Prices in East Java Today: Red Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Oil Falls

The prices of several food ingredients in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (11/2/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include consumption sugar, packaged wheat flour, medium rice, large red chili, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, dried soybean seeds (imported), premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp952 (4.51%) to Rp22,071 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel prices dropped the most by Rp288 (0.8%) to Rp35,656 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,546 per kg (down 0.53%)
9. Garlic Cloves: Rp30,216 per kg (down 0.27%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,576 per kg (up 0.06%)
11. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp22,071 per kg (up 4.51%)
