Price of Low-Quality Grade II Rice in Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province showed no change compared to the previous day or the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets increased from the previous record of Rp12,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province over the last three months has increased by 2.06% from the previous trading price of Rp12,150.

The highest price increase for daily low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2022 with an increase of 3.47%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2024 with a decrease of -3.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi showed ten commodities decreased and sixteen others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Super I Quality Rice, Daily Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Shallots in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Super II Quality Rice, Daily Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized Shallots, and Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price developments over the last month in South Sulawesi Province:
