Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Thursday, December 14, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (14/12/2023) at 18.24 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, granulated sugar, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp410 (3.08%) to Rp13,720 per liter. Red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,330 (3.5%) to Rp64,270 per kg.
