Latest Food Prices in East Java: Red Chili Prices Up, Bird's Eye Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (November 4, 2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities saw an increase and 12 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chili, curly red chili, premium rice, dried soybean seeds (imported), and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, packaged wheat flour, broiler eggs, consumption sugar, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest jump of Rp2,781 (6.08%) to Rp48,484 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp414 (1.3%) to Rp31,456 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp48,000 per kg (up 4.75%)
6. Shallots: Rp38,490 per kg (up 1.11%)
7. Mackerel: Rp35,195 per kg (down 0.03%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,941 per kg (down 0.09%)
9. Milkfish: Rp32,883 per kg (down 0.98%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,456 per kg (down 1.3%)
11. Garlic Bulbs: Rp30,456 per kg (up 0.16%)
