Today's Food Prices March 06 in West Java: Rice and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 6, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, red bird's eye chili, beef rump, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as large red chili, broiler chicken eggs, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices rose the most by Rp710 (1.91%) to Rp37,877 per kg. As for Honan garlic prices, they fell the most by Rp80 (0.23%) to Rp34,867 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 16 food commodities in West Java according to SP2KP Kemendag on March 6, 2026 at 17:28 WIB.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,914 per kg (down 0.22%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,324 per liter (unchanged)
