Current Food Prices in Banten: Onions Up, Red Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (15/4/2025) at 14.51 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, broiler chicken, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as large red chilies, curly red chilies, milkfish, packaged wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest by Rp425 (1.24%) to Rp34,773 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chilies decreased the most by Rp1,500 (2.58%) to Rp56,750 per kg.
