Today's Food Prices in West Java: Egg, Chicken, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (6/1/2025) at 09.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, premium rice, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp8,650 (10.09%) to Rp94,410 per kg. Shallot prices, on the other hand, decreased the most sharply by Rp3,430 (8.97%) to Rp34,820 per kg.
