Rupiah Strengthens 0.6% or 86 Points Against the US Dollar (Tuesday, March 28, 2023)

Bank Indonesia closed the rupiah exchange rate at Rp 15,088 per US dollar on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. This represents an appreciation of 86 points or 0.6% from the previous day's trading.

Over the week, the rupiah fluctuated by 101 points. The US dollar traded in a range of Rp 15,189 per dollar at its highest and Rp 15,088 per dollar at its lowest.

Meanwhile, against several major currencies monitored by Bank Indonesia (BI) today, the rupiah weakened by 42.12 points against the Australian dollar, weakened by 0 points against the South Korean won, strengthened by 1.25 points against the Chinese yuan, strengthened by 12.15 points against the euro, strengthened by 10.47 points against the Singapore dollar, strengthened by 4.25 points against the Hong Kong dollar, and strengthened by 14.68 points against the Malaysian ringgit.
