Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Friday, February 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (16/2/2024) at 13.25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, mackerel, broiler chicken, shallots, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp720 (2.88%) to Rp25,760 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,440 (2.13%) to Rp66,240 per kg.
