Today's Food Prices (26/2) in Central Java: Chicken Meat Rises, Red Chili Falls

Several food commodity prices in Central Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 26, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, of the 16 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken meat, beef hindquarter, premium packaged palm cooking oil, chicken eggs, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as medium rice, red bird's eye chili, large red chili, curly red chili, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat prices jumped the highest by Rp102 (0.26%) to Rp39,450 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,300 (3.73%) to Rp33,524 per kg.
