Today's Food Prices (19/2) in Jambi: Onion, Egg and Oil Prices Drop

Today in Jambi, the prices of several food commodities were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 19, 2026) at 1:26 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 8 decreased in price.

The commodities that saw price increases are curly red chili, beef rump, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of some commodities such as shallots, chicken eggs, red bird's eye chili, Honan garlic, and loose granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili had the highest price increase of Rp1,690 (4.3%) to Rp40,976 per kg. As for shallots, the price dropped the most by Rp500 (1.49%) to Rp33,030 per kg.

5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,424 per kg (unchanged)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp35,000 per kg (down 0.13%)
7. Shallots: Rp33,030 per kg (down 1.49%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,447 per kg (down 0.01%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,758 per liter (unchanged)
10. Loose Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,592 per liter (unchanged)
11. Loose Granulated Sugar: Rp17,477 per kg (down 0.52%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,664 per liter (down 0.08%)
