The only group whose price index fell in April 2022 was clothing and footwear, and even then, the decrease was very low, at 0.01%.

"In April 2022, out of 11 expenditure groups, 7 groups contributed to inflation and 4 groups did not contribute to national inflation," BPS explained in its report released on Monday (May 9, 2022).
