Bali's Daily Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (June 3, 2024) at 13:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp2,490 (8.79%) to Rp30,830 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots decreased the least by Rp710 (1.9%) to Rp36,750 per kg.
