Today's Food Prices in West Sumatra: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (12/10/2024) at 09.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, garlic cloves, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest at Rp9,390 (20.44%) to Rp55,320 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices decreased the most at Rp3,270 (21.41%) to Rp12,000 per kg.
