Latest Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Region: Bird's Eye Chili and Red Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food ingredients in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (November 6, 2025) at 2:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were broiler chicken eggs, mackerel, red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, Minyakita, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili saw the highest increase of Rp849 (1.85%) to Rp46,659 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,286 (2.47%) to Rp50,857 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp36,630 per kg (down 1.0%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,471 per kg (down 0.26%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,190 per kg (down 1.42%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp29,963 per kg (down 1.01%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,271 per kg (up 0.12%)
11. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp25,591 per kg (up 1.4%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,889 per liter (up 0.81%)
13. Consumption Sugar: Rp16,993 per kg (down 0.53%)
