The average daily price of medium-sized shallots at modern markets in West Java Province has decreased by 0.64% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in West Java Province is recorded at Rp54,050 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp54,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in West Java over the last three months has increased by 16.86% from the previously recorded price of Rp46,250 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of medium-sized shallots in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with an increase of 89.5%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -38.76%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java show nine commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Shallots, Medium-Sized Shallots, and Garlic.
