Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra, How Much is Red Chili Price?

Today's prices for several food commodities in South Sumatra are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 24, 2025) at 13.55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour, premium rice, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as skipjack tuna, pure beef, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp695 (1.42%) to Rp49,615 per kg. Red cayenne pepper price, however, dropped the sharpest by Rp990 (2.72%) to Rp35,365 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,855 per kg (down 0.46%)
