Today's Food Prices in West Java on April 22: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) at 1:11 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

The commodities that saw price increases are curly red chili, large red chili, Honan garlic, and bulk granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler eggs, red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity had the highest increase of Rp882 (2.03%) to Rp44,370 per kg. Meanwhile, the red bird's eye chili price had the deepest decrease of Rp1,247 (1.95%) to Rp62,642 per kg.
