Daily Prices of Curly Red Chilies at Modern Markets in Yogyakarta Special Region Increased by 58.38% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in the Yogyakarta Special Region province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price a month ago, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp59,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Yogyakarta Special Region over the past three months has increased by 30.97% from the previous record of Rp72,500 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in this province was in February 2017, with a 97.69% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017, with a -49.77% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Yogyakarta Special Region show two commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The commodities with decreased prices are Cooking Oil and Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1.
