Today's Food Prices in West Java: Chili, Onion, and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (12/10/2024) at 13.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, shallots, curly red chilies, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn increased the most, by Rp100 (1.82%) to Rp5,590 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp120 (0.32%) to Rp36,810 per kg.
