Food Prices Today (Dec 2) in Aceh: Red Chili, Onion, and Egg Prices Decline

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (Dec 2, 2025) at 6:45 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were broiler chicken meat, premium rice, medium rice, and beef hind shank.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as bulk palm cooking oil, imported soybeans, broiler chicken eggs, wheat flour, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Beef hind shank recorded the highest increase of Rp2,750 (1.88%) to Rp149,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp11,667 (13.46%) to Rp75,000 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 16 food commodities in Aceh according to SP2KP Kemendag on December 2, 2025, at 6:45 PM WIB.

2. Large Red Chili: Rp85,417 per kg (down 9.02%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp75,000 per kg (down 13.46%)
4. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp68,333 per kg (stable)
5. Red Onion: Rp41,500 per kg (down 6.48%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp35,625 per kg (down 0.58%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,400 per kg (up 0.44%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp34,195 per kg (down 3.66%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,500 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (stable)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,580 per liter (down 0.68%)
12. Minyakita: Rp17,500 per liter (down 0.71%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,828 per kg (up 0.23%)
14. Medium Rice: Rp13,445 per kg (up 0.1%)
15. Imported Soybeans: Rp13,400 per kg (down 0.74%)
16. Wheat Flour: Rp13,100 per kg (down 2.06%)
