Daily Prices of Curly Red Chilies at Traditional Markets in West Java Province Have Decreased by 26.06% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in West Java Province is recorded at Rp49,650. This price is up Rp600 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp67,150.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in West Java over the past three months has increased by 63.59% from the previous Rp30,350.

The record high for the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2016 with an increase of 38.89%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2019 with a decrease of -42.37%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java show nine commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Red Onions, and Garlic.
