Latest Food Prices in West Java: Sugar and Beef Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 11:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, medium-grain rice, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, milkfish, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken egg prices saw the highest increase of Rp320 (1.18%) to Rp27,540 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp230 (2.24%) to Rp10,020 per kg.
