Food Prices Saturday (6/9) in D.I Yogyakarta: Chicken Meat and Oil Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (6/9/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include consumption salt, bulk cooking oil, consumption sugar, bulk wheat flour, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, pure beef, garlic, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red onion commodity saw the highest jump of Rp2,709 (7.98%) to Rp36,667 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged wheat flour prices fell the sharpest by Rp465 (3.97%) to Rp11,235 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,583 per kg (down 0.48%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,526 per kg (up 0.89%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,136 per kg (down 0.21%)
