Current Food Prices in West Java: Rice and Beef Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (19/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, medium rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, red chilies, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp310 (0.79%) to Rp39,400 per kg. The price of shallots decreased the most, by Rp1,270 (3.29%) to Rp37,320 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in West Java according to Bapanas on November 19, 2024, at 15.22 WIB.
