Today's Food Prices (11/3) in Central Java: Red Chili, Beef and Sugar Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Central Java were observed to rise today compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 13 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases include curly red chili, bulk granulated sugar, premium rice, bulk palm cooking oil, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as Honan garlic, broiler chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices rose the most by Rp809 (2.37%) to Rp34,895 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices fell the sharpest by Rp67 (0.17%) to Rp39,276 per kg.

5. Large Red Chili: Rp35,575 per kg (up 1.13%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp34,895 per kg (up 2.37%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp32,201 per kg (down 0.09%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,139 per kg (down 0.08%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,847 per liter (up 0.25%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,315 per liter (up 0.78%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,036 per kg (up 0.28%)
