Latest Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Region: Chicken Meat, Rice, and Sugar Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (September 21, 2025) at 12:11 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices were SPHP rice, pure beef, large red chili, bulk cooking oil, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, Minyakita, mackerel, packaged cooking oil, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red bird''s eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp2,910 (8.47%) to Rp37,278 per kg. Mackerel prices, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp2,600 (6.25%) to Rp39,000 per kg.

9. Red Onion: Rp33,048 per kg (down 1.41%)
