Today's Food Prices in Jambi, March 19: Garlic and Rice Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 19, 2026) at 13:26 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, large red chili, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken eggs and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili prices increased the most by Rp2,000 (4.65%) to Rp44,976 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper prices decreased the most by Rp518 (0.81%) to Rp63,519 per kg.

5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp42,348 per kg (up 2.19%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp34,652 per kg (up 0.4%)
7. Shallots: Rp31,606 per kg (up 0.82%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,612 per kg (down 0.16%)
