Beef Prices in West Kalimantan Highest in Indonesia (Friday, February 4, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 158,000 per kg for grade 2 beef (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, February 4, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 156,060 per kg.

The daily price of grade 2 beef in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 239,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of grade 2 beef in this province remained unchanged. The highest price ever recorded in this region was Rp 294,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Sulawesi, grade 2 beef was sold at Rp 182,200 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of grade 2 beef in East Kalimantan was Rp 176,400 per kg, Central Java Rp 145,450 per kg, and East Java Rp 141,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, six provinces had grade 2 beef prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest grade 2 beef prices were Bali, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Jambi.
